Korninti - Gatekeepers of the Kuboran Galaxy

What do we know of the Korninti?  They are an ancient order, entrusted with the guardianship of the Kuboran Galaxy and its ten diverse realms. As gatekeepers, their primary role is to maintain the balance and harmony across the galaxy, ensuring the protection and preservation of its cosmic pathway and the civilizations that inhabit it.

The origins of the Korninti are shrouded in mystery. It has been written in Heberus I – The Beginning, from the ancient Korninti scrolls, that that they were chosen by celestial beings, creators of the galaxy, imbued with powers and knowledge to safeguard its integrity. Their beliefs are rooted in the principles of balance, justice, and the protection of the cosmic order. They view themselves as stewards of the galaxy, tasked with the sacred duty of preventing chaos and destruction, ensuring harmony is maintained across all realms.

The Korninti are organized into a hierarchical structure, made up of four distinct levels. Level 1 - the elders; Level 2 – senior council; Level 3 – elite advisory members; Level 4 – warriors, minders, and monitors. The four elders or each referred to as a High Duce, are responsible for fusing their essences of wisdom, strife, healing, and love into the cosmic pathway, radiating outwards to each realm.

The Kuboran Galaxy is comprised of ten realms, each unique in its environment, cultures, and challenges. The Korninti have access to enter each realm, however can never make their presence known to its inhabitants.  The realms range in appearance, culture, development to technological advancement, densely populated cities to mystical and untamed regions. Each realm has its own governing rules and traditions.

Recently, doubts have surfaced as to the true origins and purpose of the Korninti. These uncertainties are fuelled by conflicting accounts and ancient texts that suggest their existence may not be as divine as once believed. This internal crisis of faith is only added to by external threats, most notably the rise of the Armonte sorcerers from the first realm, called the Kingdom of Vellig.  Once contained and controlled within their realm, these militant sorcerers have been granted freedom, unleashing their ambitions to conquer and dominate Uis-Valla, the home of the Korninti.

In response to these threats, an ancient race, long thought dormant, has reawakened. This race, whose identity and powers are deeply intertwined with the very fabric of the galaxy, emerges but little is known of who they are, but their reappearance brings both hope and further questions, challenging the Korninti to reassess their role and beliefs.

The Korninti face numerous challenges as they strive to fulfil their duties. They must navigate the complexities of the ten realms, address the growing power of the Armonte, and confront the existential doubts within their own people. Their journey is one of introspection and action, as they seek to uphold their legacy while adapting to an ever-changing galaxy that they are rapidly losing control of.

It could be written that the Korninti are more than mere gatekeepers; they are the heart and soul of the Kuboran Galaxy's stability. As they grapple with both internal and external conflicts, their resilience and commitment to their sacred duty will determine the future of the galaxy. Their story is one of duty and transformation, a testament to the enduring struggle to maintain order in a universe that is balancing on the brink of chaos.
